Armscor announced the impending availability of two hot new items at this year’s Defense and Sporting Arms Show, at the Megatrade Hall, SM Megamall. The first is a handy little concealed carry gem in the what was previously announced as the “Baby Rock” A380. The pistol, which is a 1911 chambered in 380ACP brings all the things we love in the 1911 platform, and packs it into a small, pocketable form factor. With a magazine size of seven rounds of .380, a length of 6.5 inches, and a height of 5 inches, the Baby Rock tips the scales at just under 750 grams. It carried a 4-inch barrel, and looks all sorts of pretty. Given the relatively tame snap of the 380, and the heft of the pistol, it should be a nice little shooter.
The second bit of news is the .22 TCM kit for Glock pistols. While technically a different round, with the designation “TCM 9R,” it is essentially the same round, just tweaked a bit to fit a conversion kit for Glock pistols. First announced at the top of 2015, the TCM 9R conversion is compatible with GEN 1, 2, 3, G17 and G22 pistols. In case you’re curious, the 9R is compatible with .22 TCM pistols, but not the other way around.
Both will be available in the 3rd quarter of this year.
