The iPhone, usually realeased at a timetable one could set a clock to, is going to be a little early this year. Rumors have been going around pegging its release at August this year, a month earlier than normal. The same rumors are also saying the new phone will be much larger-screened, at4.7 inches on the diagonal, with two more, even larger devices to come out soon after.
Despite having a very regular schedule and always delivering solid devices, Apple has oft been criticized for long time periods between releases; one of the reasons their commanding lead n the industry has been eaten up by Android devices. The early release, coupled with larger screen sizes puts them in a position to better address the Android threat.
If you intend to buy a new phone, whether iOS or Android, wait a little bit. You won’t regret it either way.
