We just got word from our friends at Cherry Mobile that they’re launching two new smartphones that are aimed right at consumers who want more from their devices, without having to spend an arm and a leg. The Pulse and the Pulse Mini give you amazing value for money, and introduce Cherry’s new lone of phones that offer their new Double Tap to Wake feature.
The Pulse Mini is the smaller of the two devices. It packs a 4-inch IPS screen, and a 1GHZ Dual-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM plus 4GB of storage. To wake the device from sleep, just give the screen a quick double tap, and you’re ready to go. It also gives you Dual-SIM connectivity, so you can have both your work and personal lines live and on you at any given time.
The Pulse, on the other hand, has a 5-inch, HD IPS screen, behind sturdy Dragontrail glass. It runs a Mediatek MTK 6592 Octa-core processor that ticks away at 1.7GHz, and 1GB of RAM, with 8GB of internal storage.
Both phones give you HSPA+ connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, as well as microSD slots for additional storage.
