Well, seems that American brand Dell is quitting netbooks, and will be concentrating on ultrabooks from here on. After some eagle-eyed folks at Liliputing noticed Dell’s netbooks no longer available on their consumer site, tech website The Verge asked Dell for clarification. Speaking to The Verge, Dell has confirmed that it has quit the consumer netbook category and is instead focusing on ultrabooks, with Dell’s Marketing Director Alison Gardner saying that “Thin and powerful is where it is at for us.” Seems like next year will truly be the year for ultrabooks, eh?
