Western Digital unveils 4TB versions of their high performance Black drives

If you’re the kind of person who takes pride in benchmark scores and creating extremely fast desktop rigs, then you might want to listen up. Western Digital has announced that they’ve unveiled 4TB versions of their performance hard drive, the WD Black. No longer will modders, overclockers and hardcore gaming enthusiasts have to choose between drive capacity and performance – the WD Black has both. WD Black hard drives combine 7200 RPM spin speed, 64 MB cache, dual stage actuator technology, SATA 6 gigabits per second (Gb/s) interface, and an integrated dual processor to deliver ultimate performance in a maximum-capacity drive. You will have to pay a premium for one of these bad boys though – expect to pay around Php 14, 899 for one.
