The trailer for GTA V is officially out, and the preview looks quite stunning, and may prove to be Rockstar Games’ greatest venture to date.
Just like we reported last week, GTA V is set in a real-world model of “Los Angeles” (with real names to be substituted once again) and may feature multiple protagonists, confirming the wave of rumors and leaks that have been crawling all over the web.
Watching the trailer subtly reveals the game’s narrative, which rests on the premise of the protagonist(s) moving to “LA” and seeking a “better” life, etc. GTA V promises the original gameplay and plot development that we have all grown to love – revolving around money, power, and all those things your mama told you not to mess with. The graphics looks stunning thus far, which appears to be a vast improvement over GTA’s previous installments.
There is no confirmation on characters just yet, although several leaks mention that GTA V may include a “Welsh monk/cult leader/yoga teacher” and “an ugly but comfortable mellow Californian divorcee” just to name a few. Rockstar has further hinted at an all-star voice cast, which may include Robert De Niro.
It’s about time.
