Guy makes homemade LEGO clock, warms our nerd hearts

LEGOs have been used to make many things – homages to geek culture, cities and now, a fully functional mechanical clock. Made by Hans Anderson, the Time Twister clock looks simple but is incredibly complex. Powered by two LEGO Mindstorms NXT micro-computers chatting over Bluetooth, the Time Twister tells time in a completely awesome and hypnotic way, while noisily telling you that yes, it’s now 10:00 and you’re already late for your appointment. Mr. Anderson managed this impressive feat of nerdery by making the two LEGO Mindstorms bricks communicate via Bluetooth.
