Google’s next step to
world domination innovation has now officially opened its doors as Google Wallet goes live in the US. Google Wallet is a digital payment service that uses NFC (Near Field Communication) tech that was on the Google Nexus S to facilitate payments. Both Visa and MasterCard are now officially on-board, and it’s now only a matter of time till you’ll be able to pay for your groceries by tapping your smartphone on the store counter. Unfortunately, LA Times reports that the service will initially be available to customers belonging to Sprint Wireless customers using the Nexus S 4G, with the general roll-out following sometime next year.
