Samsung has got to be pleased with themselves, as their vaunted flagship device, the Galaxy S II has reached 10 million in global channel sales. That sales figure is doubly more impressive when you consider that Samsung was only halfway through that goal at 5 million sales.
“Since its launch in late April 2011, the GALAXY S II has seen continued sales success, demonstrating Samsung’s industry-leading capabilities in – and commitment to – the smartphone market” said JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business.
