Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) opened the biggest exclusive motor show today at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. Scheduled to run until August 18, the exhibit features Toyota and Lexus vehicles from the past, present and future.
Over 30 old-school cars are on display at the classic cars section, including “Japan’s first Supercar” the Toyota 2000GT and the (super cute!) Sports 800.
Toyota’s current product line-up is on display during the nine-day event, with a sneak preview of upcoming models like the FJ Cruiser. And an all-new Vios takes center stage, complete with all the liveries of the upcoming one-make Vios Cup.
One of the centerpieces of the motor show is Toyota’s Fuel-Cell Vehicle Reality and Revolution (FCV-R) that is a dedicated concept model that is highly practical. Marking its next step towards mass production sometime in 2015, this mid-size family FCV not only features a fuel cell cooling system, but also runs on hydrogen and only emits water vapor as supposed to emission gas or CO2.
Also on display is the Lexus Future-Luxury Coupe (LF-LC) that was first revealed in Detroit Michigan at the North American International Auto Show. The LF-LC shows off the brand’s signature spindle-shaped grill, supported by a front-engine and rear-wheel drive drivetrain layout. The interiors display the latest technology with shapes to create a driver-focused synergy of form and function. The LF-LC is powered by the latest Advanced Lexus Hybrid Drive that delivers driving performance and fuel economy.
Huge discounts await customers who test drive and make reservations during the duration of the exhibition. Save as much as P200,000 on current models when you reserve on-site.
