More rumors regarding the iPhone 5’s specs have emerged recently from some credible sources, including talk of a modified Apple chip, more memory, a new chassis, and a bigger screen. Supposedly, the next iPhone will have a 4-inch screen—slightly larger than that of the iPhone 4’s 3.5-inch display. The source of the information also stated that the forthcoming device will sport a sleek design that’s quite different from the previous models and will probably require a unibody case.
Furthermore, the iPhone 5 is also expected to have 4G or LTE capability and another source reported that the next-generation release will have 1GB of memory and will be using a slightly modified version of the dual-core A5X processor used in the iPad 3. Lastly, and contrary to previous rumors, the iPhone 5 will supposedly be launched in August or September.
