Fujifilm X-E1 review: Finding a place for the middle child

It’s not easy being the middle child, and the Fujifilm X-E1 can surely attest to that. In the Fujifilm product hierarchy, it falls smack in the middle of the highly acclaimed X-Pro1 and the newly launched X-M1. The former is larger than the X-E1, but has an optical viewfinder and a better LCD monitor to boot, and the latter has wireless capabilities and is more compact and affordable. The question as to whether or not the X-E1 has a unique edge over these two cameras is precisely why it deserves a closer look.
