Quick Look: LG Exalt LTE

What passes as a “basic phone” today still tramples over most top of the line phones of the 2000s. Exhibit A is Verizon’s partnership with LG: the Exalt LTE. The flip phone (you read that right) features a three-inch WQVGA LCD screen with 400 x 240 pixels, and large, easy-to-read, physical buttons. It has 8 GB of storage, expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card, Bluetooth 4.1, a 5 MP rear camera, and a 1470 mAh battery which has a stand-by time of 10 days. Unlike the flip phones of yesteryear however, the Exalt LTE, as the name suggests, only supports 4G networks. The phone is only available for Verizon subscribers for a retail price of USD 168.
