It’s been a year since Facebook attempted to redesign its page. That didn’t fare well for Facebook though, and resulted in unhappy users who weren’t very keen on the drastic change.
This year, Facebook is re-attempting to change its interface starting with a few minor changes in font and bigger photos for a simpler, less-cluttered News Feed.
Below are before and after photos for comparison:
UPDATED NEWS FEED DESIGN
OLD NEWS FEED DESIGN
Taking into consideration feedback from its previous experiment, Facebook assures its users that “The updated design has the best of both worlds: it keeps the layout and navigation people liked, but offers bigger images and photos, as well as a new font.”
The update began rolling out yesterday but its possible your News Feed still looks the same. It should take about a week before the update becomes available to all its users so be patient. You know you can’t run away from this, right?
