Razer earlier today launched the Razer Cortex, a virtual marketplace software designed to provide affordable and accessible video game titles for its users. A world leader in gaming-centric devices and software, Razer has partnered with leading digital game distributor GOG.com and is currently offering eight titles tagged 80-percent below normal market prices for 30-days beginning today. As more games become available, users can compare Razer’s prices against other sources using the program’s built-in price comparison tool, Razer Cortex:Deals. Below are some of the games available through Cortex.
|Title||Original Price:||Cortex Price:||Savings:|
|The Witcher 2||$19.99||$3.99||$16.00|
|Anomaly: Warzone Earth||$9.99||$1.99||$8.00|
|Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams||$14.99||$2.99||$12.00|
|Giana Sisters: Rise of the Owlverlord||$4.99||$0.99||$4.00|
Before making Cortex available to the public, 50,000 lucky users were given a two-week early access pass to peruse the software. Besides the Deals tool, Cortex provides additional features including Boost to optimize your PC’s gaming performance, Save Game Manager for automatic save game backups, and Share for instant video game screencaps with one touch of a button.
“Our software allows us to promote the gaming industry in ways our competitors can’t match,” says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. “Razer Cortex:Deals will help to get more games at the best prices in the hands of more players worldwide than ever before. By working with our partner network to set up exclusive offers, Razer Cortex is helping to extend the spirit of summer deals all year long.”
