Lenovo announced the launch of its latest touch-optimized IdeaPad Z Series laptops, the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500. “Our slim IdeaPad Z touchscreen series equipped with Windows 8 is a testament to Lenovo’s long term commitment of driving innovation by expanding into new form factors as we lead the way to the PC+ era,” Vicky Agorrilla, the country general manager of Lenovo Philippines said. “The Z Series blends fashion, form, and function to address the evolving needs of Filipino consumers looking for a slim, versatile and intuitive personal computer with great multimedia and multi-touch features at a competitive price point.”
Both the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 are slimmer than a standard notebook, but do not compromise on performance. The IdeaPad Z400 has a third generation Intel Core i7 CPU and a 14-inch LED backlit HD widescreen display, while the Z500 has an Intel Core i5 CPU and a 15-inch LED backlit HD widescreen display. Both come with 1 TB of hard drive storage, and are equipped with the latest NVIDIA GeForce technology and the Windows 8 operating system.
The IdeaPad Z400 (non-touch) is available now for only PHP 29,995, while the Z500 (non-touch) will be available at the end of February 2013 for PHP 37,995. The touchscreen version of the IdeaPad Z400 with Intel Core i3 will retail for PHP 36,995, and its Intel Core i5 version will retail for PHP 41,995, and will be available at the end of April. Thes IdeaPads come in colors such as Coral Blue, Dark Chocolate, Peony Pink and Enamel White.
From February 25 to March 30, 2013, customers who purchase a Lenovo IdeaPad Z400 or Z500 can get three Lenovo computer accessories, such as the Lenovo P720 headest, Lenovo M060 speaker and the Lenovo N3903A mouse. Each purchase also entitles the customer to three raffle tickets to win a special night in town with ten friends on board the party limo with dinner at Aracama Filipino Cuisine located at The Fort, Bonifacio Global City and an after-dinner party at Budda Bar.
