Netmarble Games Corp. announced new content for its mobile MMORPG Lineage2 Revolution including an expansion to the Tower of Insolence and new clan dungeon bosses last July 12, 2017 in Seoul, Korea.
The new bosses entering the clan dungeon are the Queen Ant and Varkaron. The Queen Ant can be played by beginners with a minimum party of just five members. Defeating the Queen Ant gives players a chance to receive a small clan coin box and a Queen Ant box.
Varkaron is a hard difficulty boss which means it is advisable for players to form a party of at least 20 members to attempt to defeat it. Upon defeating Varkaron, the party is rewarded with adenas, a small clan coin box, a Varkaron box, and more, boosting the clan’s growth.
The Tower of Insolence expansion tests the limit of each player as they defeat monsters on each level, of which there are 70. Players may receive runes to help power up their character as they progress from floor to floor, encountering stronger and stronger monsters.
A new boss monster will also be available to players in the Summit of Dissonance: Amadeus. Amadeus is tanky and has a strong attack; it is advisable for players to team up to defeat the boss.
Netmarble also announced that a player event is ongoing in Lineage2 Revolution until July 25. In-game items including A to S-grade equipment boxes and scrolls will be up for grabs for participants.
A dice game coincides with the event where players can roll a dice with points acquired from various game aspects. Completing a dice board will reap benefits like Maphr’s Protection and red diamonds.
Lineage2 Revolution is a free-to-play mobile game based on the popular Lineage PC MMORPG franchise. The game stays true to its PC counterpart with graphics powered by the Unreal 4 Engine, featuring a stunning open world, detailed characters, and expansive classes.
