Sophos, a global producer of IT security solutions whose headquarters is located in the UK, inaugurated its new Shared Services Center (SSC) in Manila on November 22. The Sophos Manila SSC aims to provide round-the-clock level 1 support services to customers across the globe, particularly in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The Manila SSC is currently staffed with over 70 support engineers and customer care specialists; 15 of which are dedicated to servicing the APAC region.
As part of Sophos’ Technical Support organization, the Manila SSC complements existing support centers located in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, the UK and the US. It is a strategic initiative in addressing the growing demand for industry-leading security solutions across the APAC region.
The inauguration was led by Sophos CEO Kris Hagerman, who said, “One of the many differentiators that sets us apart from the competition is the excellence of our support services.
