Zalora and Ayala Malls Offer the Best of Online and Offline Shopping

Zalora Group, Asia’s Online fashion destination, and Ayala Malls partner to further innovate the Filipino shopping experience, both online and offline. 

Shoppers are starting to demand a more seamless, convenient, and truly connected shopping experience across channels and devices. While many Filipinos continue shopping at traditional retail outlets, there is a shift in the proportion of those shopping online. To reinforce its seamless shopping strategy, Zalora and Ayala Malls are combining offline and online retail to meet this growing demand. 

Combining Ayala Malls’ extensive offline footprint and Zalora’s robust e-commerce ecosystem and fulfillment infrastructure, this strategic partnership supports their long-term vision to deliver a superior shopping experience across multiple customer touch points.

  • Click-and-Connect allows online shoppers to redirect their parcel delivery Ayala Malls shopping centers, so they can collect at their own time and convenience. Click-and-Connect customers will also automatically enjoy free shipping, as well as free 30-day returns and exchanges for all purchases. The pilot Click and Connect counter in Bonifacio High Street has seen tremendous response from customers and has prompted extension to Glorietta and Trinoma. More Click-and-Connect locations are expected to open by 2018.
  • Click and Mortar Pop-up Stores marry the click-and-mortar concept with experiential augmented reality, interactive booths, and beacon technology for an enhanced and immersive shopping experience. Each store will also feature exclusive collections from top brands, as well as introduce world class brands that are not yet available elsewhere in the country.
  • Ayala Malls Digital Christmas Gift Guide on Zalora was also launched. This shop-in-shop on Zalora presented an extensive selection of gift ideas and holiday lookbooks from top local and international Ayala Malls brands. 

Earlier this year, Global Fashion Group, parent company of Zalora, became partners with Ayala Group. Ayala Group invested in taking 49-percent ownership of Zalora Philippines and this partnership was approved by the regulatory board in August 2017. The investment from Ayala provides Zalora with a powerful strategic partner in the country and funding to accelerate growth plans in the region.
